The Minack

I had such a wonderful time in Cornwall this year it would be impossible to pick a favourite moment. However, a place that will always stick in my mind will be the Minack Theatre – an open air theatre perched on the cliffs near Penzance. I figured there would be some pretty stunning views from up there and I wasn’t disappointed. I was totally blown away by how beautiful it was. We started our trip by watching a show by the Squash Box Theatre about Cornish fairies. It was essentially a show for kids but it was enjoyed just as much by all the adults. Then after the show we went to explore the ever so steep theatre and look at the amazing views of the ocean and the Porthcurno beach below. I’ve not even mentioned the fact that it was a grey and drizzly day as I don’t think it matters. It didn’t spoil our experience in the slightest, although I definitely think I will have to make a trip back in the sunshine one day.
